Hard steel sheets that have passed through a cold rolling mill are heat treated (annealed) in an annealing furnace to soften them and improve their cold working and machinability.
The heat transfer promoter is loaded into the exhaust side of the radiant tube installed in the annealing furnace to generate turbulence in the combustion gas flow and efficiently utilize the heat of the combustion gas on the exhaust side.
By installing a heat transfer promoter, it is possible to prevent heat loss from exhaust gases that would otherwise be discarded along with the exhaust gases, and to efficiently transfer heat energy, making it possible to maintain the temperature on the exhaust side at a temperature similar to that on the burner side.
In addition, the heat transfer promoter improves energy efficiency, resulting in lower exhaust gas temperatures, energy savings (4-5%), and proven reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and nitrogen oxides.
